Apple Athletic Club's
Each session is designed to teach and instruct all various playing abilities. Instruction will focus on many fundamentals and aspects of the game including shooting, ball handling, passing, rebounding, footwork, defense, one-on-one moves, reading the defense and team concepts. Following are the listed SESSIONS & options thus far. More will be forthcoming.
Cost:
$50 8 years & up
$25 5, 6, 7 yrs – Note: Ask Coach E how to cut the cost for the 5, 6, 7 year old age group…

Team Practices
These can be arranged with Coach Ehardt. Held at Apple or your gym. $50 an hour.
Private lessons
These can be arranged with either Coach Ehardt or Kaly Shippen. Coach Ehardt’s lessons are about $50 an hour depending upon the number of athletes involved.

Kaly Shippen
Coach Ehardt will be assisted by another basketball enthusiast who also brings a wealth of experience to these camps & clinics. Kaly played one season at Brigham Young University after having played for rival San Diego State. While at BYU, she helped to lead her team to the 2nd round of the NIT’s, capping off a brilliant career that began at Ricks College. While there, she lead her team to the NJCAA National Tournament where her team placed 5th in the nation. Kaly married Ty Shippen, who is the current Skyline High Boys Basketball Coach. He also played at BYU before transferring to compete at the University of Alaska–Anchorage. They have three kids: Raliegh (8), Kysa (4) and Shay (3).
Lori Baldwin
Lori Baldwin has been involved with basketball all of her life. She currently teaches and coaches’ golf at Bonneville while her husband, Donny Baldwin, is the Head Boy’s hoops coach at Hillcrest and their daughter, Andrea, plays at Skyline. Ironically, both Lori and Donny were standout athletes at Idaho Falls High School. Lori had an opportunity to pursue a collegiate hoops career at Utah State but cut that short to marry Donny while he was still playing and staring at Gonzaga University (eventually showing John Stockton the ropes). Lori’s knowledge and personality is uniquely suited for the young up & coming hoopster. She is one of the best kept basketball secrets around.
Barbara Dee Ehardt
Has coached at the Division I level for 15 years while serving as the Head Coach at Cal State Fullerton for 3 of those years. As an assistant, Ehardt coached at Brigham Young University, Washington State and at national powerhouse the University of California, Santa Barbara, where she helped the Gauchos achieve their first ever-national rankings and NCAA appearances. Coach Ehardt has also coached 12 players who have gone on to play professionally, both in the WNBA and oversees. Coach E was born & raised in Idaho Falls & played at Idaho Falls High School. She then went on to play for North Idaho Junior College where she lead her team to the NJCAA National Tournament before finishing her career playing for and captaining the Idaho State University Bengal’s.

It is my sincere desire to make these clinics one of the most enjoyable camp experiences you will have. These clinics will feature myself as well as other coaches who will provide valuable life lessons, great motivation & quality instruction, which can then be applied at home while practicing on one’s own. It is my intent to take each player to the next level, especially offensively. Basically, these camps will posses a ton of “heart” –energy, emotion & enthusiasm. And to know me is to expect nothing less. That’s how I played, that’s how I coach! I guarantee your child will improve!
