Class Descriptions
Ball Blast! · Have a blast working out with every kind of ball you can imagine, tennis balls, stability ball, BOSU, medicine balls and more. Interval work, challenging yet open to all levels. Cardio, strength and flexibility. Butts ‘n Gutts · Thirty minutes of non-stop strength work targeting the glutes and abs. Cardio Floor · Kick up your heart rate in this high energy class that includes floor aerobics, body conditioning and stretching. Group Power · (formerly Body Pump) A one-hour class using barbells and adjustable weights to tone and condition muscles while raising metabolic rate for rapid fat-burning. Group Power and Core · A combination class with 30 minutes of group power targeting the major muscle groups, and 30 minutes of core work using the new BOSU as well as Stability balls, etc. Hip Hop · Shake your groove thang! Street style dancing with lots of energy and attitude. No dance experience needed. All levels welcome.! Kickin' Bootcamp · Bring your lunch hour to the gym. Strength, agility, endurance, and fun packed into a 60 minute class that is sure to take you to the next level. Jumprope/Kickboxing Interval · The class you’ll love to hate!Three minute interval jumproping mixed with kickboxing and strength training. Multi Step · A variety of step options, double step, quad step and beyond. High intensity combinations sure to make you sweat. Powercut · Grab your friends for a party! This weight lifting class uses bars, free-weights, and great music to get you through an hour of head to toe muscle work. Every class is different. All levels welcome. Powercut Plus · It’s the original powercut class plus cardio intervals between sets. Get ready to sweat. Pedal n Pump-A combination class, the first 30-45 minutes of class cycling for cardio endurance and the last 30-45 minutes of class doing group power targeting the major muscle groups. SilverSneakers · Have fun and move to the music through a variety of exercises designed to increase muscular strength, range of movement, and activity for daily living skills. Hand-held weights, elastic tubing with handles, and a ball are offered for resistance, and a chair is used for seated and/or standing support. SilverSneakers Cardio · Combine fun with fitness to increase your cardiovascular and muscular endurance power with a standing circuit workout. Upper body strength work with hand-held weights, elastic tubing with handles and a ball is alternated with Non-impact aerobic choreography. A chair is offered for support, stretching and relaxation exercises. Step · All levels welcome. Low impact movements performed on and off the Reebok step platform with or without risers. This class consists of basic step patterns for the new stepper as well as those who prefer less complicated footwork. Intensity level determined by speed, travel, and execution of movement patters. Step/Bosu · Half Step, half with the Bosu ball (the latest equipment for balance, strength and core work). Step Interval · Get ready to challenge yourself and sweat with interval training. You will get into the best shape ever with agility, sports drills, and cross training essentials. Anyone can do this class with basic step moves, showing lots of options for all levels. Step It Up · Bump up your workout with this high-energy class! You’ll experience a wide variety of combinations that will make you sweat and LOVE the burn. This step class builds upon basic moves and propels you into a whole new direction. Before you know it you will be movin’ like you’ve never moved before! Stroller Bootcamp -A circuit and strength workout for you and your child. This class is not just a stroll in the park. Bond with your child as you breath in the fresh air and get into shape. Total Body Stretch Challenge · The ultimate total body workout. An intense, empowering class that will define and sculpt every muscle in your body, using a wide variety of equipment. Be prepared for a fun new challenge each class. Tubokick -The revolutionary group exercise program that has changed the direction of kickboxng today. This workout creates a party atmosphere basic enough for the beginner and killer workout for the advanced student. Walking Fit-Take your workouts outdoors. learn 4 styles of walking including Nordic Walking. Learn how to use a pedometer, and enjoy the many walking paths of the area. All levels are welcome. Weekend Warrior · The “Ultimate” workout. One hour of Cardio, followed by 30 minutes of “Butts n’ Gutts” targeting both your glutes and abs. Learn the unique talents of each rotating instructor as she brings her class format to the floor.
SilverSneakers YogaStretch · YogaStretch will mover your whole body through a complete series of seated and standing yoga poses. Chair support is offered to safely perform a variety of postures designed to increase flexibility, balance and range of movement. Restorative breathing exercises and a final relaxation will promote stress reduction and mental clarity. Yoga · A flowing sequence of postures, focusing on building strength, flexibility and balance. Breathing techniques and meditation are utilized to help you relax and find peace. Hatha, Ashtanga, and Iyengar yoga practices are used. All levels welcome. Yoga Stretch · Increase your flexibility, lengthen the muscles, and enjoy relaxation techniques and breathing. Walk away feeling like you’ve had a session at the spa.
