Apple Athletic Club's Junior Tennis Program & Tennis Academy
JUNIOR TENNIS PROGRAM
Apple Athletic Club is proud to have one of the most active junior programs in the country.
Augmenting a successful junior group lesson program are tournaments, exchanges, trips to college matches, and visits and inspiration from former players now in the collegiate ranks.
In 2007 and 2008 junior players were able to work as ball kids during the Tennis Channel Open in Las Vegas. Annually, since 2009 Apple Athletic Club has provided a contingent of ball kids to the prestigious BNP Paribas Open in Indian Wells, the fifth largest professional tournament in the world.
Since then, annually, a group of juniors from Apple Athletic Club has had the privilege of working as ball kids at the BNP Paribas Open in Indian Wells, CA, the fifth largest tournament in the world.
Apple Athletic Club actively supports the local High School tennis programs and through its personnel, helps administer district tournaments for both the 5A and 4A classification. Local school programs have been extremely successful with both Hillcrest and Idaho Falls High School having won the State Championships as a team; several of the individual players have been likewise successful.
The Apple Athletic Club Tennis Facility has been providing the home courts for the "Competitive Training Center" Eastern Idaho program. This program is run in approximately 100 facilities nationwide in support of the USTA Player Development effort. Among others, former world number 1, Mats Wilander, has been a guest coach in Idaho Falls.

We want to say thank you one more time, for a truly great experience at the tournament this week. It was a great experience that inspired Molly to play her best tennis ever in the finals match against Cassidy Nelson and very relaxing and enjoyable for Maureen and me. The round-robin format was an excellent decision and made for so much more good tennis. All the girls were very close in ability and any of Molly's matches could have gone either way. We appreciate all that you have done, and especially scheduling Molly's first matches in your tournaments so that we have time to drive to Idaho Falls that morning. We will look forward to your tournament in early October!
Charley, Maureen, and Molly
