Nowhere in Idaho will you find a larger, more educated staff devoted to ensuring that you reach your personal fitness, health, and body image goals. Whether you want to lose weight, train for an athletic event or simply be as fit and healthy as you can, we have the education, programming and equipment you need. It doesn't matter if you wish to train by yourself or in a cozy group of 2 or 3, we will find a way to meet your time and budgetary allowances.

Karen Whyte- Barre Instructor

Heather BluthHeather believes that a balanced body and movement allows her to keep a zest for life, feel young, and participate in the activities she still loves like running, hiking, biking, swimming & paddle boarding.
She is excited to be part of the Mind & Body Team here at Apple. Heather specializes in teaching Barre Above ™ and is excited to help you reach your goals in fine tuning those stability muscles that help with posture, balance, flexibility, and overall strength.
Courtney WaldronCourtney has earned the ACE Personal Trainer certification and gained a lot of knowledge from constant independent study and research, joining the Apple staff in 2019. She has branched out in many areas of fitness such as Crossfit, bodybuilding, powerlifting, Spartan races, and some Olympic lifting in order to help gain experience and knowledge. Anxiety and depression are no stranger to Courtney and truly believes that exercise and healthy nutrition can aid in helping manage these illnesses.
Shannaray RyanAfter her first child, she found herself 75lbs heavier but made the commitment to work out six days per week and change her lifestyle. She dropped the 75lbs and gained lean muscle mass, all within a year.
Shannaray is ACE Certified in both Personal Training and GroupX, and holds other industry certifications. As a mom of five children, Shannaray “walks the walk” herself and knows what it takes to succeed in a healthier lifestyle.
Juliana WaltersJuliana is an ACE Certified personal trainer who also holds a certification
with USA Boxing as a coach. As an Apple trainer, she can help
you with weight loss, along with marathon, triathlon, and even figure
competition training. Juliana loves to help others begin their fitness
journeys, maintain their progress, and help them achieve fitness goals.
Lynette OlsenLynette loves people and loves helping them progress. Her fitness journey began as a young mother who found that fitness and daily workouts were the key to keeping a strong body for life’s challenges. In 2018, Lynette added P90X Instructor to her resume and is now actively coaching clients in that program. Lynette still practices what she preaches and as of 2018, has run 25 marathons, including Boston three times, and about 45 half marathons.
Mike TaylorMike started at the Apple in 2002 and has since progressed to one of our
top trainers. Mike is also one of our FitWall Coordinators and offers excellent
workouts in less than 30 minutes. He is a successful marathoner and Tri-Athlete.
Mike is a true professional and can coach anyone with any fitness goal higher and
higher. He is also a very successful weight loss coach.
Evelyn WilliamsEvelyn Williams attended ISU on an academic scholarship and graduated “Highest Honors” with a B.S Health Education Degree and certified as an Exercise Physiologist with the American College of Sports Medicine. She has been a personal trainer and group fitness instructor since 2000, coaching clients in a multitude of training formats and disciplines. Most recently, she began her apprenticeship towards full certification in STOTT PILATES, and is training clients in Apple’s private studio.
Jeremy HebardJeremy's journey began in 1987 when he began training in flexibility, resistance and cardio. Then, in 1990 he started Martial Arts training as he wanted a form of Mind, Body & Spirit exercise. Now an ACE Certified Personal Trainer and Master Instructor in the Martial Arts with over 17,000 hours in instructing others, he enjoys working with people of all ages to help them succeed! A healthy lifestyle is possible; you just have to make the choice.
Ben WaltersBen is ACE certified and has certification as a coach with USA Boxing under the US Olympic Committee. He holds graduate degrees in Human Exceptionality and Education Psychology from ISU. Ben competed in sanctioned USA Boxing, and was head/asst coach for several boxers who hold excellent amateur boxing records. Ben has recovered from a sedentary lifestyle that brought him back from the morbidly obese weight of 350 lbs. to the high level of fitness he currently enjoys in his 40's.
Tami ColeTami is a native to southeast Idaho and has been in the fitness industry since 1996. She is a certified personal trainer and group fitness instructor through the American Council on Exercise. Tami is also a certified STOTT PILATES instructor, trained in Mat and Reformer. She enjoys running, cycling, strength training, yoga, and all things fitness. If you need help with running your first marathon, losing those unwanted pounds, or anything in between, then Tami is the trainer for you!
Janet ServiceJanet has been a trainer with Apple since 2006! She’s loves personal training and works very hard for her client’s success. Janet is ACE certified and is very knowledgeable in human kinesiology, anatomy, and physiology. She specializes in weight management, resistance and endurance training and can also train runners for various distance events.
Kathy KalougataKathy, a Level II trainer, graduated with a bachelor’s degree from BYU-Hawaii in Exercise Science and Wellness Management and is currently working towards an ACE certification in personal training. Kathy has worked with clients from ages 15-91 years old and is willing to work with anyone. As a specialist in women’s health, weight-management, and colligate sports, Kathy can help you achieve your goals!
Gary MyersGary, a Level II trainer, graduated from BSU in 1997 with a bachelors in Health Science Studies. He continued his education at St. Louis University graduating in 2001 with a bachelor degree in Medical Science, including a Certificate in Physician Assistant Studies. With physician’s approval, Gary can provide clients with appropriate feedback regarding their acute or chronic disease, and in some cases customize their weight loss and strength training regimens to complement their health issues.
Josh ReederJosh is a graduate of Idaho State University with a bachelor in Health Education and a Master in Public Health. He is a certified personal trainer through the American Council on Exercise. Josh can help anyone reach their fitness goals and has trained a wide variety of clientele from those who are just beginning exercise to athletes training for competitions. He excels in training people who have special needs like injuries or chronic diseases that must be accommodated for in a fitness routine
Sandi GordonSandi moved to Idaho in December 2009 after 14 years of managing a health club in Fort Meyers, Florida. She also trained and worked in vascular laboratories for 10 years before earning her Personal Trainer Certification through the American Council on Exercise. She specializes in helping seniors live healthier and fitter lives, but can work with anyone wanting to improve fitness. Sandi loves the ocean and traveling with her husband, Ray.
Diane LutzDiane comes to us from Colorado. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Physical Education and a Master's degree in Exercise Physiology. Her certification is from the American College of Sports Medicine as an Exercise Test Technologist. She has worked with people of all ages and is looking forward to helping you meet your goals.
Julie HaddonJulie joined the Apple staff as a Group Fitness Instructor in 2005 certifying in a variety of programs from PiYo, Spinning, Powercut, Yoga, and more. Her classes are some of the most popular at Apple as evidenced by the line out the door. Julie joined Apple’s P90X Pro Team in 2015 and again excelled at motivating clients to succeed to new heights. She has become a true inspiration to both clients and fellow staff members.
Brandon ReedBrandon is a native of Southeast Idaho. He is a graduate of ISU in Health Education and also played football for the Bengals while there. Following graduation, he earned his personal training certification through the American Council on Exercise. Brandon is also a certified strength and conditioning specialist through the National Strength and Conditioning Association. He specializes in weight-management and sport specific training.
Aaron SchowAaron is a graduate of ISU in physical education/fitness leadership. He is a certified personal trainer through the American Council on Exercise, a strength and conditioning specialist through the National Strength and Conditioning Association, and is dual certified in Pilates through Stott and Physical Mind. Aaron has been personal training at Apple since 1998, and also is a professional bodybuilder. He specializes in weight management, total body training.
Stacey ChristensenStacey earned her Physical Therapy Assistant license in 1998 and then joined the Apple crew in 2002 as a Certified Group Fitness Instructor. She has taught thousands of classes over the years and really has a way with motivating members to succeed. With her natural ability leading exercise groups, in 2015 Stacey joined the Apple’s P90X Pro Team and in 2016 joined the Fitwall Team. Her energy and passion is certainly contagious.
Lisa MortonLisa is a graduate of the University of North Texas with a BA in Exercise Kinesiology. She was a Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader from 2002-2007. She moved to Idaho Falls in the summer of 2007. Lisa has been with Apple Athletic Club since 2008 and specializes in overall fitness, especially weight loss and management. Lisa has trained over 5000 client hours, is Fitwall certified, and is a STOTT PILATES Level 1 & 2 Mat, Reformer, and Injuries and Special Populations instructor.
Robby DenningRobby started with the Apple Athletic Club in the late 1980’s (hence the hair!) He was a trainer for 14 years before advancing to the Director of the Personal Training & STOTT PILATES Departments. He is responsible for all the trainers and instructors in those departments. He is ACE certified and enjoys seeing Apple Trainers and members engage in the life-changing transformations that fitness and weight-loss can bring about.

Each level advances in experience, education, and performance criteria as determined by Apple management. The system recognizes those career-oriented trainers who have put forth the time, effort, and commitment it takes to be a World-Class Personal Trainer. In this day and age of weekend certifications and with no barrier to entry into the personal training field, this system ensures you'll have a quality professional to help you achieve your goals.
