Personal Training Levels
Apple employs 5 levels of personal trainers to meet your fitness needs and financial abilities.
Each level advances in experience, education, and performance criteria as determined by Apple management. Level I Level I trainers have a four-year degree in an exercise-related field and/or are enrolled in Apple's Personal Trainer Education Program. (PTEP) Level II Level II Trainers have completed Apple's PTEP program and are currently certified by on of the following certifying organizations: ACE, ACSM, NSCA, or NASM. Level III Level III trainers have more than 2,000 client-hours of experience and are currently certified as above; or Level III trainers have earned more than one of the above named certifications, are currently certified, and more than 1,000 client-hours of experience. Level IV Level IV trainers have more than 5,000 client-hours of experience and are currently certified as above; or Level IV trainers have earned more than one of the above-named certifications, are currently certified, and have more than 2500 client-hours of experience. These trainers are frequently quoted in print and the broadcast media and are available for lectures and seminars on fitness. Level V Level V trainers have more than 15,000 client-hours of experience and are currently certified as above; or Level V trainers have earned all of the above-named certifications, are currently certified, and have more than 5,000 client-hours of experience; or Level V trainers have earned one of the above-named certifications, are currently certified, have more than 2,500 client-hours of experience, and have earned an advanced degree in an exercise-related field. These trainers are frequently featured and quoted in print and the broadcast media. These trainers are also available for lectures and seminars in the local communities. |
