Pilates Instructors at Apple Athletic Club and their Certification
- Aaron Schow - Aaron Schow has been at Apple for 9 years. Previously certified by the Physical Mind Institute, he has advanced to become certified in Stott Pilates. He is currently a Level II Mat and Level I Reformer Instructor. Aaron believes Pilates is a unique form of training which can help with core strength, posture, flexability and most of all he enjoys. Aaron is also a Personal Trainer, certified by N.S.C.A.
- Annette Hayner- Annette is currently Apple's highest certified Stott Pilates instructor. She is Stot Pilates Mat Level II and Reformer Level I. Annette believes becoming certified in and teaching Stott Pilates was one of the best things she has ever done. After seeing the great improvements Pilates made in her first client, who had numerous back ailments, she was hooked. Annette's greates reward from teaching Stott Pilates is seeing first hand the improvements and benefits gained by her clients. Along with her Stott certifications she is also certified in Group Power and Spinning.
- Terri McIsaac - Terri has been with Apple since 1996 and has recently become a Stott Reformer Apprentice. After a near fatal car crash, Terri struggled with her breathing, which is one of the 5 main principles of Stott Pilates. So she feels she has a personal understanding of the difficulties and rewards of gaining control of lung capacity, core strength, and range of motion. Terri finds great pleasure in helping people find balance, alignment, and optimal musculoskeletal performance with intelligent exercise like Stott Pilates. Along with Pilates, Terri is an ACE certified group fitness instructor and is currently teaching H2O group fitness classes.
- Nicki Thiel - Nicki has been training with the Apple Pilates team since 2005. She is currently Stott certified Level I Mat and a Stott Reformer Apprentice. Nicki teaches Essential, Intermediate, and Advanced Mat as well
as Essential and Intermediate Reformer. She is also available for group and personal Pilates instruction. Nicki also has 15 years previous experiece teaching Modern and Creative dance and sees PIlates as a natural fit with her beliefs on movement and fitness. - Tami Cole - Tami is currently certified Level II Mat Stott Pilates Instructor. Tami believes some of the greatest benefits of Stott Pilates is proper posture alignment, longer, leaner muscles, and a strong core. Her love to achieve these benefits and excitement at seeing other people strive to achieve these benefits make her Mat Pilates classes a fun and rewarding experience. Along with her Pilates certification, Tami is also an ACE certified Personal Trainer and AFFA certified Fitness Instructor. Her enthusiasm for a healthy active lifestyle has led her into a career of fitness and has been working in the industry for 11 years.
- Elena Lambert - Elena taught Pilates for 2 years under the Physical Mind Institute but in 2006 opted to advance he Pilates and become a Stott Pilates Mat Apprentice. She has grown to love the small group format and one-on-one instruction of Stott Pilates. Elena says "what is addicting about (Stott) Pilates is that you truly get results. No matter your goal, whether to increase your athletic ability, strengthen your lower back, or tighten a post-partum tummy...it works!" Elena is also a certified Personal Trainer.
