• The pools are open for lap swim or open swim anytime there is not a class scheduled. Schedule listed on reverse side. Swim club uses the entire lap pool M-TH 4:-5:30pm.
  • Lane ropes available for lap swimming, circle swim used if sharing a lane, directions on deck. Do not hang or play on lane ropes.
  • Lessons, classes and therapy patients have pool space priority.
  • There is adult only (16 yrs or older) times on Monday Wednesday & Friday in the indoor pools from 1-3 p.m. There is also a class during part of this time. See schedule.
  • The pool rules are posted on deck, on the north wall, please read and follow all rules.
  • Children 6 years old and under are not allowed in the hot tub. Children 7 -13 years old must wear a wristband or be accompanied by an adult. No horse play is allowed in hot tubs.
  • All pools and hot tubs are open regular club hours but will close 15 minutes before closing time for maintenance and cleaning.
  • The outdoor pool is open approximately Memorial Day to Labor Day.
  • There is a lifeguard on duty Monday- Saturday from 1-4p.m. at the outdoor pool. There is no lap swimming in the outdoor pool during this time. If the weather is inclement and the pool is not in use the lifeguard will not be on duty.
  • Club policy states that children under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult, at all times while in the pool area. We offer a swim test for children under age 14 who would like to swim without adult supervision. Parental approval required. A wristband must be worn after the swim test has been passed.   • Items in locked bins are for class use only.
  • We offer swimming lessons and youth swim club year-round. We have joined with Swim America to teach the best swimming lesson program for kids. Private and/or group lessons are available. Registration forms are available at the Member Service Desk.
  • Swimming lessons may be taught in any of the three pools.

  • Ellis PT uses the therapy pool for water therapy M-F 2-4pm. If children are playing or swimming in the therapy pool during that time (remember adults only days MWF), an adult must accompany them.   • If a member wants to bring in a guest for swimming only, the fee is $1 for children 0-4 years old, $5 for children 5-15, 16 - adult must pay current IHRSA prices but have access to other areas of the club. This is a daily charge and tax is applicable. Without a member there is an additional fee. A par-Q form must be completed for all guests.
  • Pool schedule subject to change without notice. Apple Athletic Club makes every effort to inform members and guests of special events or closures that will affect pool usage.
