3/9   The green team is picking up the intensity level.  We have been pushing the circuit training to a whole new level.  Heart rates are jumping up and the sweat is flying.  I love it!  Good job green team!  You are doing great!  Keep pushing yourself in the gym, but especially outside of the gym.  Karen, Sara, and Ricki are our shinning stars right now.  You are doing awesome and it is paying off.  Keep after it!

3/2  We had some great work outs over this last week for those who showed up!  We are getting a little wild and crazy and switching the workout up a little.  Many of the team participants are ready for the next level and want to work hard.  Keep working!  Never give up.  Just remember the difference between the chicken and the pig in a breakfast meal.  The chicken is participating, but the pig is committed!  Are you committed?  Go green team!!

2/24 Ok Green team!  The White team is starting to get a big head.  Are you going to take that?  You can do so much better!  Do you remember at the beginning of the program you committed to a lifestyle change?  Where is that commitment now?  Are you going to stick with it or throw the towel in like so many times before?  This is your chance to shine!   Healthy lifestyle management never ends.  I have told you before, the program does not work.  You work!  Prove it to yourself.  I am here to help.  Let's get it done!

2/16  It was another hard fought week for the green team.  Many of the members of our team were not present for the Monday weigh in.  The distractions of life (Valentine's Day/Pres. Day) are taking their toll on the green team.  Sarah and Ricki are hanging in there and pulling the weight of the green team this last week.  Both posting some nice weight loss.  We reviewed team members 30 day inventories.  They have noticed a marked change in their eating habits over the last month.  Team members are making conscious healthier choices.  Good job guys!  Let's keep working hard.  We are in it for the long haul!

2/9  This last week was a rough one for the green team.  Between the super bowl slip ups and the relationship break ups many of the contestants were lucky to even maintain weight let alone lose any.  We talked about building a support network for healthy lifestyle management.  This is really the capstone of the five critical control factors and can help you keep everything all together.  Life is full of events that will draw you away from your ultimate goal.  Don't be discouraged.  Chanel your energy and use it to work the program!  It works as YOU work it!!

2/2  The green team is working hard.  We have been battling with some illness amongst the group, but overall we saw some good workouts and the pounds are coming off.  Danielle and Dottie both took some vacation time this last week and are learning the ins and outs of record keeping on the road.  Sarah and Mykala posted some good numbers this last week and the scale rewarded them nicely!  If we can pull ourselves together as a team we can rally for a comeback.  We have had some motivating discussions about stimulus control.  Karen said she is working on implementing that more fully in the workplace.  Good job green team!  Just remember, you get out of it what you put into it!  Make a large investment and you will be happy with your return.

1/26:  This last week has revealed the contestants who are really tracking their food and calories and working hard to keep their physical activity up.  They floated on the scale with 4-6lbs. of weight loss again.  Those who are struggling are not being diligent in their record keeping and efforts to exercise and moderate calories.  Yet another testament to record keeping.  You have got the tools and the knowhow.  Let's do it!  Be true to yourself and stay committed.  Let's beat the white team this week!

1/19: Wow we are off to a great start!  This season's Ultimate Losers are dedicated and determined.  It showed up on the scale at our first weigh in.  We saw some maintain their weight and some lose up to 5 and 7 pounds in one week.  It always comes down to the one who is tracking and recording their calories accurately and honestly makes the greatest strides in health.  We are covering such great topics in class like "Stimulus Control" and "Record Keeping".  Anyone who applies any of the 5 critical control factors will begin to see dramatic health improvements.  Healthy lifestyle management is about achieving and maintaining balance in all areas of our life.  Our losers are beginning that journey.  It is so exciting to see that sparkle in their eye when they catch that vision of balance.  Go green team!

1/11-We are kicking off a new competition of Ultimate Loser and I would like to welcome all of the new participants.  It is exciting to get to know each other and begin this new life changing journey together.  Ultimate Loser is such a great program because it works as you work it!  The program focuses on healthy eating, calorie control/portion, proper exercise, and a group setting for support, plus a personal trainer.  All of these variables combined equal astounding outcomes.  I am looking forward to the next 10 weeks!  Let's change your life together!  Let's do it!

3/9/2010- The old reliable White Team is back!  We had a great week again this past week.  Everyone is gearing up for the final push. The intensity is flowing and the results are coming.  Katie G showed amazing drive this past week! She was out of town for most of the week and still came in with a SEVEN pound loss this morning.  Great Job Katie!!  Katie R broke a three week plateau and went into the 160's!  Congrats to Triska. She also dropped below the 120 mark for the first time in a while!  Congrats to everyone and Thanks for bouncing back after a tough week last week!! Go WHITE!!!

3/4/2010- Now with two & a half weeks left, I am eating crow. My white team Faltered.  I have no doubt though that they are back onboard and refocused. We are putting out a missing persons report for our friend Pilar Saslow. If anyone sees her, point her toward Apple and PUSH. We need her as part of our team. We are excited for each other.  Everyone who is truly putting it in is getting great rewards.  The team as a whole is really an amazing success! Great Job White Team!!

2/24/10- With three & half weeks left, I feel the need to talk a little smack!  Mike is an awesome trainer!  Hop on board Green Team!!!!  We (White Team) are wondering where the competitive drive went.   I know it's hard to run in our dust but come on! Come get us!!  Okay, now to the unbeatable White Team; Yet another great week.  Triska continues her onslaught with another 2+ pound loss.  Katie G and Andrea are mounting a comeback, though.  We still haven't fully regained Pilar or Lyndon.  I hope they are reading this. Get up and redeem yourselves!!!  This is a great opportunity to do great things.  Don't just bale-- Make this GREAT!!!

2/18/10-  From Superbowl to Valentines Day; Still not a problem!!  The White team is unstopable. The White team has renewed gusto after a thrilling half-way evaluation.  Each participant experienced significant success. Almost everyone defied the odds and maintained ALL of their lean mass while dropping great amounts of bodyfat!  This week they are back at it with their food journalling and consistent effort here at the gym.  Big news! Pilar and Lyndon both came and participated this week. Hopefully they, as well as everyone else, can renew their comittment and stay the course.  IT WILL PAY OFF!! Keep it up White Team!!!

2/9/2010- It's another great week to be WHITE! (White team I mean)  Even Superbowl Parties can't derail these guys!  The team finished up the last of the lecture portion of the program today. We encouraged them to go out and solicit the support they need to be successful. Jody found herself begging for ice cream and, luckily, her husband held strong against the idea.  She has help. We all have help if we ask for it.  Jody was also excited today to find out that even in her fifties, she can run. We are progressing our workouts to new levels each week and the white team is responding wonderfully! Keep it up guys!  By the way, at 9% of original body weight lost, Triska is still running wild. Great job Triska!!

2/2/2010- Calories in- Calories Out!  We had a few weekend getaways on the white team.  However, they have learned the concept of balancing the caloric budget.  Triska enjoyed a donut or two; Chad enjoyed some of Grandma's brownies; Still both lost over two or three pounds each. Journaling the diet and exercise is an unbeatable tool. Pilar went MIA this week.  I hope we can get her back on the horse. Overall, we are doing great!! I'm just putting this out there; If you haven't already noticed, Triska is the smallest contestant and right now is pounding everyone else.  Her nearest competition on the white team is over 2% lower in overall percentage weight loss!! YOWZA!!

1/26/2010- The White team has shown great consistency and persistance this week.  They have done great with their workouts and quite well with their food journaling as well.  The scale is beginning to align itself with the projected numbers for most participants, but reclaimed some of the generosity it showed last week to a couple.  I have been very impressed with the strength and drive of the white team.  This will be a very successful group.  Great Job guys!!

1/19/2010- We are off to a great start!   The white team is SO on the ball!  They are keeping great records! They are getting lots of great exercise!  We have been able to get a great jump on the scale as well.  That being said, the scale in almost every case overpaid the white team this week.  Don't fall in love with the scale.  It will collect it's due. Keep up the great work. GO WHITE!!!!

1/11/2010- Welcome to the Fifth season of The Ultimate Loser Program!  Over the next 10 weeks we're going to learn all the tools of becoming masters at changing your bodies.  PLEASE give all you have in completing the assignments and giving all you have to the workouts.  You can have the utmost confidence in the program.  IT WORKS!!  It works because it is based upon good founded science. It is not trendy.  It will ALWAYS work.  I look forward to working with the white team this season. GO WHITE!!!
