BECKY HOLZEMER: "Stress has always ruled my life and weight. When my mom passed away last year, I knew that I needed to do something to keep myself busy or I would continue dealing with my emotions by overeating. I was 55 years old, 50 lbs overweight, tired, & bored but not ready to sit in a rocking chair. I called Brad at Apple Athletic Club and he asked me to come in and talk about the programs at the Club. After this meeting, we decided that a Personal Trainer would help me achieve my goals. Luckily for me, he signed me up with a great Personal Trainer, Steve Gardner. It is difficult to put into words how much I appreciate Steve. We have become friends and he is the best coach and cheerleader I have ever had. As I lost weight, Steve was just as excited as I was - sometimes more! He reviewed my food log weekly to make sure I followed a healthy diet. When I had a hard time completing an exercise, he would find a way to help me succeed. Steve helped me gain confidence in myself and I cannot believe how much my life has changed in the past (4) months. I have lost (57) lbs and I love going to the gym to exercise, visiting new friends to share our success stories, and living a lifestyle that makes me feel younger and more energetic. I never thought I could run, lift weights, do pushups, and love it at the same time! I have exceeded my goals with Steve's help and encouragement and I have learned that it is never too late to change a lifetime of bad habits. I am now in maintenance and this part of my journey is just as challenging. However, I know success is my only option because I have Steve at my side and together there is no challenge "we" cannot overcome!"

Women's Area

Our "women's only" workout area is directly connected to the women's dressing and shower area for ease of access. A relaxing area, yet filled to the brim with cardio equipment such as treadmills, elliptical trainers, and bikes. This area also has TV's to allow your workout to be even more enjoyable.

Once done with your fitness routine, you are just steps away from relaxing in the spa, sauna, or steam room. When you are done there, your attitude will be re-adjusted and you'll be ready to tackle the world again!
